One student actually brought to school a pre-mixed alcoholic beverage, a portion that was marketed as adult lemonade and shared with four classmates. While we try to monitor everything our students bring to school, this is simply not possible. It’s unfortunate that these types of adult drinks can easily be considered child-friendly drinks. “The school staff noticed the drink and immediately dealt with the situation, which included consulting with professional doctors in controlling the poisonings and calling the parents of the children involved. “We are grateful that no student got sick or needed medical attention.” Copyright 2022 by KSAT – All rights reserved.
