Microsoft’s goal with the preview is to make it easier for gamers to play Game Pass games with their friends and family across console, PC, and the cloud, allowing them to add up to four people to their subscription. The best Xbox Game Pass games The plan is only available to Xbox Insiders, but those people can add people to the program who aren’t part of the program as long as they’re in the same country. When players join the preview, the new plan will “convert the time remaining on your subscription to time in the new plan, based on the monetary value of the old subscription.” In March of this year, it was announced that Microsoft is working on an Xbox Game Pass family program. Details since then, including the requirement for added members to be in the same country, are the same or similar to that original report. Xbox Game Pass gives subscribers a rotating list of games they can play for $9.99 a month. It often even includes day one releases for first-party Microsoft titles at no extra cost. The next level is Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. It bundles the service with Xbox Live Gold for $14.99 per month. This gives players access to Xbox online multiplayer functionality, as well as free monthly games through Games With Gold. August’s game selection has just started rolling out. They include Ghost Recon Wildlands and Turbo Golf Racing which are available now. Later this month, games like Two Point Campus and Expeditions: Rome will be added.
