Lt. Col. Olga “Korsha” Katsura is the first female head of Moscow’s military to die since the invasion began in February. Kachura, 52, was killed instantly when a rocket hit her car in the Donetsk town of Horlivka. A Ukrainian from the separatist region of Donetsk, where pro-Kremlin officials have declared independence from Ukraine, Kachura helped found the local militia and led hundreds of men into battle.
