“We will find you. TikTok will find you,” said singer Nicole Arrage.
The video has garnered more than 6.8 million views on the social networking platform so far.
On Monday, April 11, Arrage wore an inflatable blue coat with one-click closure pockets.
“I made sure I clicked both buttons,” he said – one of the many details from that many days gone by.
He would later have to give these details to the police. She believes that she was stolen by a talented vegetarian, who succeeded with her expensive technology and credit card.
She was wearing this coat on the back of her chair in an Outremont cafe. Security shots from that day show a tall man coming in, buying a coffee and sitting behind her.

Alleged wallet case in Montreal (image: Nicole Arrage) Arrage used the material to narrate a TikTok video, describing in detail how the alleged thief appeared to have snatched her valuables. “I made eye contact with him,” he said. “Immediately, I had a weird atmosphere from this guy.” After several sips from his mug, he put his hand behind the sleeve of his jacket for a few seconds. What happened next is protected from the camera’s point of view. “He has his hand in my pocket,” Arrage claimed in the video she posted on social media. In a viral video, Nicole Arrage mentions how the man allegedly snatched her phone and wallet (image: Nicole Arrage) After the man left, she said, “we were ready to leave, (I went to get) my phone and I “My God, it’s not there,” he added. “The pocket was open.” “It was so shocking,” he said. “I felt this sense of emptiness.” She asked for help from the coffee staff and they gave her the safety equipment. “I feel so grateful,” Arrage said of the coffee owner. “He stopped working to sit with me.” “I feel violated,” said Darren Johnston, owner of Cafe DAX. “It’s my job. We want to have a safe environment.” Johnston said he had never seen the man Arrage believes he stole from her in the cafe. He told CTV that he takes security very seriously for his customers and for the shelves that are stocked with expensive wine. She told staff to watch out for the alleged thief, but if she stole her phone, she did not expect to return. After leaving the restaurant, she reported it to the police and told the bank that her card had been stolen. He said the thief made some purchases before canceling the card – a few hundred dollars at a grocery store and a gas station. Money is one thing, but Arrage also mourns the many recordings on her phone. “I have all this sound of future songs and music that I have written for the future,” he said. “That means so much to me.” “I hope you get it all back,” one commenter wrote. “So sorry for what happened to you,” wrote another. Nicole Arrage said she wanted to reveal the tactics used by the alleged porter. If she can’t get her phone back, she hopes the video will at least inspire others to take anti-theft precautions. “Now, all future wallets can no longer use this tactic, because it has been revealed,” he said. She said she hoped anyone who picked up her phone would be caught, but told CTV she was not yet sure if she wanted to make accusations. “He does not need to hurt other people,” he said. “At the end of the day, we are all the same and we all deserve to be respected.” “I would really like him to ask for help and understand his actions and how they can really hurt someone.”
