Emergency services are unavailable for extended periods at two Eastern Health facilities, while a third will be closed for a 24-hour period. From Monday, August 1st at 8:00 am and will last until August 8, emergency services at the Community Health Center Dr. William H. Newhook in Whitbourne will be closed due to staff shortages. Also, starting August 1, the US Memorial Health Center in St. Lawrence will be closed for ten days, reopening on Wednesday, August 10.
