Merseyside police launched an investigation into the murder after the incident in the city center on Saturday night. The force said emergency services were called to an internet cafe on London Road around 5.50pm. after a report that an 18-year-old man had been attacked. The victim was taken to hospital by ambulance but was pronounced dead, police said. DCI Terry Davies said London Road would be crowded at the time of the incident and called anyone with information to contact. He added: “We are in the very early stages of the investigation as we try to find out what happened and who is involved. “At the time of the incident, London Road would be crowded, so I would ask anyone in the area around 5.30pm. and after he saw or heard something suspicious or he may have recorded anything important on his cell phone. , dashboard camera and CCTV, to contact us urgently. ” Anyone with information is requested to post DM MerPolCC on Twitter, Facebook Merseyside Police Contact Center or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 with reference 786 of 16 April.
