(KAKE) – KAKE News has a crew heading to the scene of a large fire at the Haven Midstream gas processing plant. The call took place around 1:30 p.m. Many crews are battling the fire. The K-96 will be temporarily closed between Yoder and Haven. It is imperative that people do not come to the area. Haven Midstream takes gas and drops the temperature to sub-zero temperatures to separate the gaseous liquids – ethane, butane, propane and natural gasoline – from methane, the main constituent of the gas. This is an evolving story and KAKE will bring you the latest as the information becomes available. Courtesy of Brett Short
