Owami Davies, 24, from Grays, Essex, was last seen in Derby Road, West Croydon, south London, shortly before midnight on Thursday July 7. Her desperate family have made a public appeal for help to find her as fears for her safety grow. Four men previously arrested – two on suspicion of murder and two on suspicion of kidnapping – have been released on bail until September. A 27-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of kidnapping, police revealed on Sunday. CCTV captured Ms Davies in the company of a man on July 7 – the day she was last seen. A second unconfirmed sighting has also been reported on the same day at around 7am on nearby Clarendon Street. Mrs Davies had left her family home in Grays, Essex, three days earlier on Monday July 4. Detective Chief Inspector Nigel Penney, who is leading the investigation for the Metropolitan Police, said: “This is a complex ongoing investigation involving a significant number of officers. “We are working tirelessly to follow every line of inquiry, including extensive CCTV footage, as we continue to search for Owami. “We are now a month since her last confirmed sighting. I can’t imagine what it was like at that time for her family. We continue to provide them with whatever support we can. “I’m grateful for the help we’ve received from the public so far, but I must again appeal to anyone with information – no matter how insignificant they think it may be – to get in touch.” Owami Davies’ mother Nicol (PA wire) Nicol Davies’ mother has made public appeals through the police for help to find her daughter. He said: “This is such a terrible time for everyone who loves Owami and I am asking anyone who can help find her to contact the police. Every day we hope to hear the news that Owami is coming back to us. your help can do it.” Ms Davies was nearing the end of her studies and had secured a job with Guy’s and St Thomas’ health, her mother told the PA news agency. He had worked in A&E during the Covid-19 pandemic and was interested in doing disease research. The 24-year-old, who is nicknamed ‘Princess’ due to her love of Disney, had family holidays planned to Spain and Disneyland Paris.
