By Samantha Lawson Posted August 1, 2022 at 12:33 pm Peel Regional Police were involved in a car chase in the early hours of Sunday morning (July 31) after a man stole a car with a passenger still inside. A call came in just before 4 a.m. about a car that had just been stolen and still had a female passenger in it. Police were able to make contact with the female victim who allowed them to track the location of the stolen vehicle. The vehicle traveled to the Halton area and Peel Police joined forces with the Halton Police Service. A brief police chase was captured on videotape after the vehicle turned the corner near a store security camera. Halton Police eventually stopped the vehicle in the area of Adamson St. and Guelph St. in Norval. A 32-year-old man was arrested by the police. The charges the man will face have not been disclosed. As a result of the incident, the female victim who was inside the stolen vehicle suffered minor injuries. insauga Editorial Standards and Policies
