Devon and Cornwall police issued a statement about the incident that unfolded in the area this afternoon (April 17) saying: “We currently have a 100-meter fence in the Deer Park area of Plymouth after locating a possible ammunition that The Royal Navy EOD is on its way to assess the object. “ The force said people “can see a higher presence of officers in the area” as long as the cordon is in place. The cordon was lifted shortly after 4 p.m. A Devon and Cornwall police spokesman said: “The EOD assessed and removed the object from Plymouth Deer Park.
