Three RVs were destroyed in a propane tank fire at Mabel Lake Resort over the weekend.
Residents of the community manned their own fire engine to battle the flames in the early hours of Sunday morning.
“There’s no fire department. It’s just a bunch of great people coming together,” says Doug McMinniman, who drove the truck.
He says trying to put out the flames was an “incredible job done by residents and visitors”.
The fire was contained to three RV lots in less than 15 minutes.
“An incredible feat by a bunch of normal men and women,” says McMinniman.
