Emergency crews were called to the crash around 4:45 p.m. in the area of Erbsville Road and Willow Wood Drive. Police say the recycling truck was headed north on Erbsville with its tailgate up. The rear gate hit wires, lamp posts and caused them to fall onto the road. No injuries were reported. The road was closed until 4 am The 27-year-old Kitchener man was charged with careless driving.
