He won the Calder Cup with the team in 2018. A third-round pick of the Dallas Stars in 2005, Clowney appeared in 139 career NHL games with the Los Angeles Kings, Nashville Predators and Maple Leafs. He scored seven goals and 22 points in those games while racking up 327 penalty minutes.
