Footage has emerged showing Vladimir Putin struggling to repel a mosquito, raising questions about the Russian dictator’s health. Instead of using his right hand to ward off mosquitoes, Putin used his left hand as his right hand appeared to be hanging limply. He was also seen limping alongside Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu’s daughter Ksenia, 31, as she took him on a tour of a military museum to celebrate the country’s Navy Day. Reports say that the macho man has a team of doctors around him at all times when he travels in Russia and abroad. There have also been recent allegations from Ukraine that he used body doubles during visits abroad. His recent visit to Iran was marred by fears that he was using stuntmen. Putin appeared to be moving unusually quickly on his trip to the Iranian capital and appeared more alert than in previous public appearances. The General SVR channel claimed that Putin suffers from several serious illnesses, including cancer, Parkinson’s disease and schizoaffective disorder. Russian political scientist Valery Solovey defended this claim, saying: “The Americans, the CIA in particular, have information about the real state of health of the Russian president. “They certainly know he has serious problems, including mental ones.” But CIA director William Burns disputes that, saying there is no information that Putin is suffering. The Kremlin insists Putin is healthy and there are rumors that his mistress Alina Kabaeva, 39, is expecting a new baby.
