At about 12:05 am on Monday, Niagara Regional Police officers with the Marine/Underwater Search and Recovery Unit discovered the man not far from where he was last seen. Detectives and the coroner attended the scene and an autopsy has been ordered. It is not being treated as suspicious. The deceased was identified as a 37-year-old man from Mississauga. Police said emergency services were contacted about the missing man at around 7.40pm on Sunday. Officers rushed to the scene in Port Dalhousie and the initial investigation found that a boat towing a tube capsized and the tube rider went into the water and did not resurface.
