Al-Razawe carried out three sexual assaults in downtown Liverpool in just four days last year. The creep, 24, initially targeted two teenage friends sitting at a bus stop – asking them for sex and palpating their thighs. reports the Liverpool Echo .

He then hit the bottom of a young woman before biting her breast after knocking him to the ground. A judge said al-Razawi tried to treat the victims as his “sexual products” without “respecting their rights”. And a woman even chased him in the street, before hitting a fist that helped him find himself behind bars.

Attacks on teenagers

Al-Razawe attacked two teenagers, aged 17 and 18, who were waiting for a taxi at the Liverpool One bus station at around 11.30pm on Saturday 23 October. He tapped their feet and slid his hand over a victim’s shorts. But the other used her phone to take a photo and take a video of him, which she later posted on Facebook, to warn others and recognize him. At the time, the Syrian national – who had entered the UK illegally and sought asylum – was living in a hostel on Upper Park Street in Toxteth. Several days later, the man running the hostel was sent a screenshot of the post when he immediately identified al-Razawah and contacted police. The drunken trumpeter approached two women walking down the street, asking them to open a bottle of wine and when he proceeded, he slapped and squeezed the bottom of one of the women. When her boyfriend protested, he started shaking his hand, so the woman who had just abused grabbed him by the throat and they both fell. There he dipped his teeth into her left breast and hit her on the head with the bottle. The Liverpool Crown Court heard a man shout “down” and Al-Razaweh fled. But by now the two women had been reunited with another friend, who chased him and caught him. Prosecuted Henry Riding said: “There was something like a fight before he left running again. During this fight, however, the friend punched the accused in the face. As a result, he matched the accused as a result of a DNA analysis.” The third victim and her two friends also managed to take pictures of Al-Razawe, before showing him in an identity parade. Faced with overwhelming evidence against him, the coward admitted three counts of sexual assault and one assault that caused actual bodily harm. The 17-year-old victim told the court that she had difficulty sleeping. In a statement, the victim said: “Every time I closed my eyes I could see his face.” She added that she is now much more wary of people when she is out and that she was relieved that neither she nor her friend were alone. The 18-year-old victim said that she was left bounced with the slightest noise, she was struggling to sleep and woke up with a heavy feeling in her chest. Mr Riding said: “She describes how she does not want to get up or go out and relive what happened in her head over and over again.” The third victim, in her 20s, had moved to Liverpool from a different area and described how uncomfortable she felt in the city. She had nightmares, struggled to cope with social situations and reacted negatively to men who touched her in a friendly way. Mr Riding said: “She describes that the bite on her chest left a permanent scar, which is a permanent reminder of what happened and affects the clothes she can wear.” (Image: Crown Prosecution Service) Condemning the sentence, Judge Recorder Harris praised the woman who “bravely” chased Al-Razawe and helped bring him to justice. He said the pervert would have to sign the Sex Offender Register for a decade. Al-Razawah, who claimed that alcohol and drugs played a role in both attacks and that he did not remember the first incident, was identified by an officer as “posing a high risk of serious harm to women”. Recorder Harris said he had shown “no insight or empathy” and that he had “a predatory sexual approach to women”. The judge sentenced him to three years in prison. Al-Razawi will serve half of his sentence in prison, at which point, depending on the outcome of the Interior Ministry hearing, he will either be released on bail or deported.
