Police are investigating reports of a shooting on the campus of Oakland Technical High School Sunday afternoon. OAKLAND, Calif. — Police are investigating reports of a shooting on the campus of Oakland Technical High School Sunday afternoon. Police have not released any official statement about what happened, but officers were seen searching the neighborhood near the school. Witnesses say the 10-year-old Pop Warner Football Team from the Fresno area was playing the Oakland team when shots rang out in the stands. Witnesses say an adult man was shot, a 5-year-old girl was shot and another female was grazed by a bullet. “It’s sad to hear these kids running and screaming, and you know when you see the faces of these kids and how they react to things like that, it makes it even worse,” Oakland Dynamites Pop Warner coach Quintrell Dotson said. “Kids don’t deserve to see and watch things like this, kids don’t need to be around like that when you come to these events, anything out of nature shouldn’t even be happening here, so it just hurts that this happened today.” Police have not said if any arrests have been made. Police also have not said who they are looking for. Copyright © 2022 KGO-TV. All rights reserved.
