Yang’s Easter Bunny said this weekend is Easter, “or hot Halloween,” and while it may not be the most “A-list festive character,” it is the “most horrible.” “A human-sized bunny with no history,” he said. “Who is this?!” Easter Bunny went on to explain that the spirit of the holiday is renewal and that is why he invited guests from “all walks of life to share their hopes for this period of Easter”. The first was Dr. Anthony Fauci, played by Kate McKinnon. “Believe me, I’m not here to give you more guidance on Covid. I’m not stupid enough to think you’re going to follow it,” McKinnon’s Fauci said. “All I can say is that the Covid cases are very similar to Jesus – they have risen again!” The next guest was MP Marjorie Taylor Greene, played by Cecily Strong, holding an AR-15 chocolate. “Do not worry, this rifle is chocolate, but the bullets are real,” he said. “Happy Easter and God bless Russia – I mean America. Both, right?” Another special guest was a man with a beard and long hair. “Hello, it’s me, Jesus Christ,” said the man. “I’m just kidding, I’m Jared Leto.” Leto, played by Kyle Mooney, said his message was “positive.” “So if you’re going to see my new movie, ‘Morbius,’ do not review it,” he said. “If you’re the type of movie commentator, Morbius just isn’t for you.” The last special guest was former President Donald Trump, played by James Austin Johnson. “Easter is time for a basket, it’s time for a bunny and honestly, bonnet,” said Johnson’s Trump. “And let’s not forget the egg.” The former Austin president then went on to say a tangent about Reese’s eggs, Cap’n Crunch and berries. “What the hell are you saying?” asked Yang’s Easter Bunny. Johnson’s Trump later said he said Covid would be finished by Easter. “I just did not say which one, okay?” he said. “So say it with me all! Happy Easter!” He and the other expert guests then said the opening phrase of the show, “Live … From New York! It’s Saturday night!”
