On Thursday, the RCMP received information that someone was dead inside a house on 50A Avenue. Police later found a 33-year-old dead inside. The Alberta RCMP Major Crime Unit undertook the investigation at that point. The RCMP later arrested and charged Byron Ervin Dinsmore, 22, of Stettler with manslaughter at gunpoint and humiliation of a body. Trending Stories Dinsmore remains in custody until his next court appearance on April 21, 2022. Police said they were not looking for other suspects.
