Kimberly is one of the brand new fighters, alongside Jamie. She’s described as “obsessed with ’80s pop culture” and her moves look to be some of the most varied yet. Juri has seen a fairly significant redesign, like Chun Li and Ryu, and is described as still being a “thrill seeker”. Since M. Bison’s downfall in Street Fighter 5, she’s been on the hunt for her next thrill. A brand new stage was also introduced during Juri’s gameplay presentation. Both Juri and Kimberly were actually revealed before the Street Fighter 5 Grand Finals at EVO 2022 thanks to German Capcom’s Twitter account accidentally tweeting images of both characters before the Top 8 at EVO. Now that we’ve seen seven characters and Capcom has previously announced that they’ll be going dark for a while as they return to the studio to finish development, we probably won’t see another big reveal until the Game Awards in December at the earliest. . And, with Street Fighter 6’s release date set for 2023, we’ll likely start seeing the rest of the roster confirmed in the new year, before Street Fighter 6 takes center stage at EVO 2023.
