A feature in a downtown hole attracts tourists and locals alike for a pint. Shamrock City’s new deck draws the attention of those on the Pedestrian Mall in downtown St. Louis. John’s, because of a stuffed 1250 pound bull moose, affectionately named “Shammoose”. The moose was harvested on the province’s west coast as part of a charity initiative supporting vulnerable populations. Volunteers from the Broken Earth team hunted the animal and donated the meat to The Gathering Place. Along with it are posted information boards about the meaning of the Shammoose and what it represents. It is fast becoming one of the most popular backdrops for downtown photos.
