The sheriff says the suspect, a 52-year-old man from Prior Lake, Minnesota, is being held in the St. Louis County Jail. Croix and will be named when charges are announced. The sheriff says witnesses provided information about the events and the man was arrested without incident at the tuber exit point on the river. The deceased is a 17-year-old boy from Stillwater, Minnesota. The four victims at the hospital are a 20-year-old man and a 22-year-old from Luck, Wisconsin. a 22-year-old man from Elk River, Minnesota. and a 24-year-old woman from Burnsville, Minnesota. Authorities say the victims, whose torso and chest injuries range from serious to critical, are considered stable. Authorities are investigating and say they are still determining a motive for the stabbings.
