The Swimmer In Distress In Guelph Lake Was Later Pronounced Dead

Wellington County OPP, Guelph-Wellington Paramedics and local fire departments responded to the scene and began searching for the missing swimmer. At approximately 19:30 the bather was located and taken to a local hospital, where they were pronounced dead. The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
