The incident happened around 2:20 a.m. in the Milliken area near McCowan Street and McNicoll Avenue.
Police said there were reports of shots fired in the area.
Officers who rushed to the scene found a man in his 30s who had been shot. The victim’s injuries are not life-threatening, they said.
Paramedics took the man to the hospital.
