Despite the summer holidays, many tourist destinations and attractions will remain open on Monday, but some may have reduced hours.
Here’s a list of what’s open and closed this Monday, August 1st:
Open:
Some tourist attractions such as CN Tower, Center Island, Art Gallery of Ontario, Royal Ontario Museum, Ontario Science Centre, Toronto Zoo, Ripley’s Aquarium and Hockey Hall of Fame. Toronto beaches and most pools or splash pad Most grocery stores may be open with reduced hours. It’s best to call ahead to find out about hours. Most malls such as Fairview Mall (11am to 7pm), Markville Mall (11am to 6pm), Dufferin Mall (10am to 6pm), to 6 p.m.), Scarborough Town Center (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.), The Shops at Don Mills (11 a.m. to 6 p.m.), Toronto Eaton Center (11am to 7pm) and Yorkdale (11am to 6pm) will be open. TTC service will operate on a holiday schedule, while GO Transit will operate on a Saturday schedule.
