In a press release issued Friday morning, Cpl. Kelowna RCMP Tammy Lobb says police were patrolling the center’s core at about 3 a.m. when they encountered a fight in the alley just south of the Downtown Kelowna Fire Station outside Water Street. “Officers immediately intervened and learned that two men had been stabbed,” Cpl said. said Lobb. “A 26-year-old and a 28-year-old suffered serious, non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to hospital by EHS.” Police have arrested a 33-year-old man at the scene, who remains in custody as police continue their search. “It is unknown at this time what he meant by this,” said Cpl.
