A teenager who went missing from his family home in the US almost three years ago has been reunited with his family – after a remarkable attempt by police to find out who he was. Connerjack Oswalt’s surprised parents feared they would never see their autistic son again, who was 17 when he disappeared. But the missing young man, who lived at his home in California, was found trembling at a gas station about 750 miles away in Utah on Saturday, April 9th. The mystery still surrounds him where he was for 31 months, but the family was left in “floods of tears” after meeting him again. The 19-year-old had initially disappeared from his family home in Clearlake before lunch one day in September 2019, when his mother remembered making quesadillas – only to find out that her son had disappeared. Now Connerjack’s family, who have many mental health problems, have praised the police who went “up and down” to help him. Sheriff’s deputies found the teenager trembling as he tried to sleep in a convenience store in Summit County, which is known for its ski areas, Sheriff Justin Martinez explained. Police say that when lawmakers found Mrs Flint’s son, they asked if she would like him to come in their car and warm up. But after his wife confirmed the identification through a birthmark, Gerald Flint quit his job, jumped in his car and drove to Utah for four hours. “Everyone in the room cried,” he said. “They went up and down, they put in working hours.
