Updated: 20:13, 16 April 2022 Thousands of burned pallets caused the A17 to close in west Norfolk. The call came around 2.53 p.m. this afternoon in reports of open fire outside the A17, near the Walpole Cross Keys. The incident caused the A17 to remain closed between the Pullover roundabout and the Sutton Bridge. This affected travel in the area and caused significant delays. Firefighters remain at the scene of the blaze in West Norfolk. – Certification: Chris Bishop / Archant Appliances from Terrington St Clement, King’s Lynn, Fakenham, Sandringham, Outwell, Hingham, Heacham and Suffolk crews were present.
