BUTLER TOWNSHIP — More details have emerged about a man identified as a person of interest after four people were shot and killed in a Butler Township neighborhood. Police on scene identified 39-year-old Stephen Marlowe as a person of interest in the case, his current location is unknown.

Chicago, Illinois? and Lexington, Kentucky, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation. His last known speech was in Dayton, the FBI said. Records show he lived at a home on Haverstraw Avenue that is near where police said the shooting occurred. Property records show that Marlowe’s parents owned the home on Haverstraw Avenue. According to Montgomery court records, Marlowe has a criminal history and pleaded guilty in early 2020 to burglary and aggravated menacing. He was sentenced to five years’ probation. Records also show Marlow graduated from Vandalia Butler High School in 2001. A LinkedIn that appears to belong to Marlow states that he is from Dayton and graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2005. For 12 years, from 2006 to 2018, Marlow worked in the trade industry, according to his LinkedIn profile. He also indicated that he worked for several companies in Chicago. Marlow was last seen in a white 2007 Ford Edge with Ohio license plate number JES 9806. Police said Marlow should not be approached if located and should be considered armed and dangerous.
