In WhatsApp, the “last appearance” lets other users know when someone last opened the app and can indicate if they checked the app without replying to a message. For now, you can hide your “last appearance” from everyone, but that means you can not see anyone else. There is also an option to set the “last visit” only to your contacts, but you can not select specific people to know about it. Here are the current “latest show” privacy options available on WhatsApp: WhatsApp’s current Last Seen privacy feature. It is currently in beta for both iOS and Android and we hope it will be released soon across WhatsApp.
