According to the dispatch office, police received a call around 2:14 a.m.  at a residence on Bonner Avenue near the corner of Rothesay Street.  There were reports of shots fired at the home.
Homeowner Erica Brown tells CTV she and her husband woke up to what sounded like a loud bang on the window.  They feared that someone threw something at the window and might be trying to get in.  “It’s never happened before,” he said, “we have a very quiet neighborhood here, it’s very suspicious.”

(Source: CTV News Winnipeg) The couple went to investigate and discovered that a bullet had gone through the front window, pierced the dining room wall and entered their office. “It’s a little unsettling. I’m usually out on the lake, so when I come home and this happens, I want to leave,” Braun said. Police say no one was injured in the incident and the investigation is ongoing.
