A woman has been arrested after allegedly trying to rob a 100 Mile House A&W restaurant at gunpoint. On Monday, April 18, at 8:10 a.m., the local RCMP responded to a call from a woman with a gun in the restaurant that staff were “scared.” When police arrived a few minutes later, they found a woman suspected of fighting with two staff members. He was arrested safely and taken to the police. Police describe her as a 42-year-old Caucasian known to them. Her name has not been made public, while accusations are pending that were sworn in by the Crown’s lawyer. BC Ambulance Services treated staff members for injuries and transported one victim to hospital. A firearm was found at the scene. The 100 Mile House RCMP continues to search, using high quality CCTV footage from the restaurant.
