Merseyside police were called to London Road in downtown Liverpool after a young man was found seriously injured in an internet cafe. Police and paramedics were called around 5:50 p.m. on April 16 following reports that a teenager had been attacked. He was taken to Royal Liverpool Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police have since launched an investigation into the murder, as investigations into the victim’s death continue. One person, who did not want to be named, told ECHO: “It’s so sad, and in broad daylight. Eighteen is such a young age, they had their whole life ahead of them. They also appeal to a driver of a vehicle that was seen driving erratically at the time. A large police cordon was set up on Saturday afternoon with about 12 police cars and trucks at the scene, as well as medical examiners and paramedics.
