Emergency crews were called to the area shortly after 9pm ET Police say the injured woman was rushed to a trauma center. Police tweeted that the woman had been hit by a train, but later said the information was incorrect. A police spokesman told CBC News that the woman was “conscious and breathing” and that her condition was considered stable. The suspect – a woman – fled and was last seen heading west on Bloor Street, police say.
