The incident happened at Yonge Station shortly after 9 p.m. When emergency crews arrived, they found the woman unconscious and breathing, police said. He was rushed to the injury center in serious but stable condition. Police say they are looking for a female suspect who escaped from the station and was last seen west on Bloor Street. He was wearing a pink or gray hat, an inflatable black jacket, a gray hooded sweatshirt, black pants and was holding a red bag. It is not clear why the suspect pushed the woman. The incident prompted TTC to suspend subway service on line 2 between St. Louis stations. George and Broadview. Trains on Line 1 also bypassed Bloor-Yonge Station due to the incident. Regular service continued on both metro lines shortly after 11 p.m.
